The University of Lincoln offers a variety of accommodation, most of which is on, or a short walk from, our city-centre campus.
The increasing popularity of Lincoln as a university of choice means that demand for University-allocated accommodation in Lincoln is higher than ever; however, last year all Clearing entrants who applied for accommodation by midnight on Friday 17th August received an offer of accommodation either on, or within 15 minutes walking distance of, the Brayford campus.
Lincoln is a safe, student-centred city with a fantastic range of approved accommodation options. At the University of Lincoln you’re sure to feel at home.
Almost all accommodation in Lincoln is within short walking distance of the Brayford campus. The Courts is a stunning waterfront accommodation complex, situated on campus in the heart of the Student Village. The University’s academic buildings, Student Support Centre and the Engine Shed are only minutes away, and the city centre is just a short walk. Off-campus accommodation is within walking distance of the University.
Everything on Your Doorstep
The city’s nightlife includes restaurants, pubs, cocktail bars, live music venues and clubs. The Brayford Marina is home to a nine-screen Odeon cinema, while the Engine Shed, Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, New Theatre Royal and Lincoln Drill Hall offer a programme of events throughout the year.
Dominika Garbocz, Danesgate House
The best thing about my accommodation is the modern facilities. All the bedrooms are en-suite, with large beds, plenty of storage and lots of light. My favourite thing is the large kitchen, which is ideal for socialising as it has a large TV, sofas and a kitchen island everyone can sit around.
Logan Baker, Lincoln Courts
The location is perfect; being on campus is ideal for getting to lectures. Settling in and making new friends could not have been easier due to the spacious communal areas.
Madeleine Long, Cygnet Wharf
Cygnet Wharf’s facilities and location are amazing. As it is situated on campus it’s only five minutes away from any part of the University. There are ten of us in our apartment and it is easy to make new friends. It’s a really sociable environment as there always seems to be someone in the common area.
Ash Kavanagh, The Gateway
The Gateway feels like a great transition between living at home with parents and living out in the adult world. There’s a great community feel and I always feel safe and valued as a resident.
