This course is a one day programme delivered by a BRC Approved Training Provider which aims to provide delegates with an understanding of the changes to the requirements of the standard. The course is aimed at site technical and quality managers and their teams.
The new requirements - encouraging development of product safety culture, expanding the requirements for environmental monitoring to reflect the increasing importance of this technique, encouraging sites to further develop systems for security and food defence, adding clarity to the requirements for high-risk, high-care and ambient high-care production risk zones, providing greater clarity for sites manufacturing pet food, ensuring global applicability and bench-marking to the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
This one day course is delivered on site at the National Centre for Food Manufacturing, Holbeach and can also be delivered on business premises.
Delegates are encouraged to read and review the Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 8. The course will be assessed by completion of a multiple choice online exam. This is a 25 question exam and the pass mark is 60%.
