It encourages students to develop the analytical, critical and collaborative skills needed to work across broad interdisciplinary issues. Physical Geography at Lincoln focuses on understanding the Earth system, developing skills relevant to managing environmental challenges and hazards such as floods and droughts, as well assisting decision makers in government and the environmental sector.
The Science Foundation Year aims to prepare students for degree-level study, by equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to be successful in science, healthcare or engineering related subjects. The course is designed to open up an exciting world of opportunities within these disciplines for students who do not meet our standard entry requirements.
