Erasmus+ for Staff

ERASMUS plus
European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport.

Erasmus+ offers great opportunities for academic and administrative staff at higher education institutions to teach or train elsewhere Europe.

By taking part in the Erasmus+ programme you learn first hand about the workings of another European educational system. You will be able to enhance your teaching experience and develop your international networks and improve your language skills.

You will be able to explore new ideas and discover alternative ways of working which you can then implement and share with your students and colleagues.

Taking Part

The recommended minimum for a teaching assignment is five days - the maximum, six weeks. Funding is available to teach in all subject areas and you may also find time to get involved in activities such as student support, meetings and research.

Staff training is an option for both academic and non-teaching staff. The programme supports activities such as job-shadowing, study visits or short secondments.
