How to Pay

The best way to pay your tuition fees is through our Online Payments system, using a debit or credit card (MasterCard, MasterCard Debit, Visa Credit, Visa Debit and Visa Electron cards are accepted).

Please refer to any correspondence you may have received in relation to Tuition Fees for the amount you will be expected to pay. 

Payments in Pounds Sterling (£) - Cash, bank transfers, Visa and MasterCard payments must be made in Pounds Sterling (£).

Payments in international currencies - Bank transfer, China UnionPay 中国银联在线支付服务 and AliPay 支付宝  can, in most cases, be paid for in your home currency. These payment methods however, must be completed using our approved payment partner, ‘flywire’.

International students are requested to pay fees in stages.

Please note: If you are being sponsored, your sponsor can also pay online. They will need your student number, and date of birth. This ensures any payment is correctly assigned to your University account.

In Full

Using our partner system, WPM, you will be able to pay your tuition securely in full using the following payment cards: Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Maestro or Visa Electron.

To pay by one of these card types, please visit our Tuition Fee Pathway and select payment in full or call the Finance Department on 01522 886705.

By Instalments

Using our partner system, WPM, you will be able to pay your tuition securely in instalments using the following payment cards: Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard or Visa Electron.

You can arrange a payment plan so that you can pay in instalments.  The maximum number of monthly instalments you can arrange is 9.  These must be consecutive monthly instalments starting in the month you enrol.

For September enrollers, to set up your instalment plan using one of the card types above, please visit our Tuition Fee Pathway and select payment in instalments, call the Finance Department on 01522 886705 or visit us on the 3rd Floor of the Minerva Building.

For non September enrollers you will need to call to the Finance department on 01522 886705 or visit us on the 3rd Floor of the Minerva Building.

One of these options needs to be completed within 21 days of enrolment. 

Information on making a payment via bank transfer (*in your home currency).

Home Students

Using our partner system, flywire, you will be able to arrange a bank transfer in GBP and track it’s delivery to the University. For further information or to set up your bank transfer, please visit our UK Bank Transfer site.

EU/International Students

Although most currencies are available, in most cases, where payment in your home currency is not available or desired, flywire can also be used to process bank transfers in GBP Sterling, simply choose the GBP option from the list of available payment options. China UnionPay 中国银联线支付服/ AliPay 支付宝 

If you would like to pay by either China UnionPay中国银联线支付服or AliPay 支付宝 , you will be able to securely process your tuition payment through our partner system, flywire. You simply enter the GBP value that you have been asked to pay, choose 'China' as the country that you’re paying from and the system will convert this to your home currency, in most cases.

Please make cheques (Sterling) payable to “University of Lincoln”.  Print your Student ID number, name and address on the reverse of the cheque.

You must only use this method of payment if there is no other option available to you.

Please do not send cash through the post under any circumstances.
