The University of Lincoln is ranked amongst the UK’s Top 50 Universities in the Guardian’s 2013 University Guide. The University improved by ten places on last year’s position, moving up to 47th place.
The Times Good University Guide
The University of Lincoln has continued to rise up the Times’ university league table achieving the most progress of any institution over the last two years.
In Times Good University Guide 2013 the University of Lincoln is now ranked 52nd out of 117 universities in the UK, placing it well in the top half of all institutions in the latest edition of the Good University Guide.
The THE Student Experience Survey 2013
The University of Lincoln has risen into the top quarter of the latest Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey. Lincoln was placed joint 23rd out of 102 higher education institutions in the rankings, up from 66th last year. Students at Lincoln rated the institution particularly strongly for having 'Helpful / interested staff' and 'Good personal relationships’ between students and teaching staff. Lincoln also compared well in the categories 'Good environment on campus', 'Centralised, convenient facilities' and 'Good library and opening hours', among others.
Research-engaged Teaching
Lincoln leads the nationwide educational project Student as Producer which engages students through practical learning and experimentation in collaboration with colleagues and academics. The University was "commended" in the latest QAA Institutional Review.
