The Parents Guide to Open Days - the Lincoln Experience
Come and See the Campus for Yourselves
University of Lincoln Open Days give you the opportunity to explore the fantastic life at Lincoln that we are able to offer your son or daughter.
We run specific talks for parents and guardians and you will also get the opportunity to take a tour of the city, view accommodation and speak to academics and current students to find out more about the University of Lincoln experience.
See the Campus
More than £140 million has been invested in the Brayford Pool campus and this is set to continue as we press on with further exciting developments.
The University is home to the first purpose-built School of Engineering in the UK for more than 20 years and the Faculty of Business and Law has moved into its new state-of-the-art premises.
Major developments have also taken place at our Holbeach and Riseholme campuses with the Equestrian Centre at Riseholme Park now designated as a 2012 Olympic training camp.
See Lincoln
Steeped in history and cultural heritage, Lincoln’s soaring architecture and timeless beauty has made it a tourist hotspot, attracting more than a million visitors every year.
The city is a successful blend of old and new – the site of William the Conqueror’s Castle and one of Europe’s finest Gothic cathedrals overlook a bustling waterfront now developed into a contemporary attraction of eateries, multi-screen cinema and marina.
At the beating heart of this modern city is the University of Lincoln. Steep Hill links the University to the Cathedral and a vibrant shopping experience. It is a safe and convenient place to live and study and its compact nature means that most amenities are within easy walking distance of the University and each other.
These are just a few of the many reasons why we believe Lincoln would be an excellent choice for your son or daughter. But don't take our word for it, pay us a visit...
Can't wait? Take a tour now...
