ADULT LEARNERS WEEK ON CAMPUS
It’s never too late to learn - as thousands
of mature students have discovered after returning to education - and next week
the University of Lincolnshire of Humberside is offering prospective learners a
chance to have a taste of what’s on offer.
Part of the national Adult Learners Week
initiative, the university-wide events are aimed at attracting older people
back into education who may have missed out first time round or who want to
improve on their current qualifications.
Taster sessions have been organised for
Computer Aided Design in the Department of Engineering on Tuesday 23rd
May, and on Thursday 25th May prospective students can gain an
insight into the diverse range of courses offered in the Hull Business School.
In higher education a mature student is
anyone over the age of 21, and would-be returners can speak to staff in the
Marketing Department to find out how the University of Lincolnshire &
Humberside can help them.
Advice on course fees, bursaries and the
hardship fund will also be available from university staff as part of the
taster sessions.
To register your interest please contact the
Marketing Department on 01482 440550.
