CREATIVE THINKING ON DISPLAY

 

Finishing touches are being made to this year’s University of Lincoln art and design End of Year Shows which go on display in Hull later this month. 

 

These imaginative and creative exhibitions - produced by final year students from the university’s Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design - represent the culmination of up to three year’s work in their chosen discipline.

 

The shows will take place at various locations around Hull city centre as follows:-

 

28 May                         TV & Film Design public screenings will take place at Hull Screen, Albion Street, Hull at 2.00pm.

 

30 May                         Animation work can be viewed at the Odeon, Kingston Park, Hull.

 

6 - 11 June                    Architecture, Interior Design, Architectural Technology and Museum and Exhibition Design will all be on display at Hull School of Architecture, George Street, Hull, 9.30am to 5.00pm daily except Sunday.

 

7 - 11 June                    Interactive Multimedia work will be exhibited at the EICH Gallery, George Street, Hull, 11.00am to 4.00pm Saturday 10.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Wednesday.

                       

7 - 13 June                    Fine Art ‘The Joy of Art’ will be presented at Hull School of Art and Design, Queens Gardens and Anlaby Road buildings, 10.00am to 4.00pm daily except Sunday.

 

7 - 13 June                    TV & Film Design public view will take place at 42 High Street, Hull, 10.00am to 4.00pm.

 

7 - 13 June                    Illustration and Graphic Design work will be displayed at the Hull School of Art and Design, Queens Gardens building, 10.00am to 4.00pm.

 

“Once again the highest quality of student work is evident throughout the faculty’s summer shows,” said Professor Vincent Shacklock, Dean of the Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design.

 

“It is always pleasing to note that when the greatest of pressure exists, the discipline, creativity and imagination or our student body is exhibited in full measure.”

 

The shows are free of charge and are open for public viewing.
