Welcome to our global alumni community, which is made up of more than 130,000 graduates from across more than 150 countries. As a graduate of the University, you can access a wide range of benefits and services wherever you are in the world.
We have a dedicated Alumni team to help you stay in touch with the University and make the most of everything on offer. This includes careers support, discounted membership of the University gym, and associate membership of the University library.
Please find below our welcome checklist for new graduates detailing information about your transition to the alumni community and steps you need to take, including reviewing your University accounts, exploring your exclusive alumni benefits, and more.
Review Your Student Accounts
Upon completion of your course (not graduation), you will have a limited 3-month window to access your student account and associated Digital Services, such as Emails, Office 365, Blackboard, H: Drive Storage, and more. Further information about steps you need to take to ensure any work you want to keep is not lost can be found below.
Update Your Contact Details
Engage with the Careers and Employability Team
Don't forget you are eligible for bespoke Careers and Employability support for up to two years after graduation. Make sure to use the service for any support you may need such as CV writing tips, access to the CareerLinc portal for graduate vacancies, careers appointments or tailored workshops and events.
