Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs)

KTPs are a UK-wide programme which supports businesses to develop a product, service or process by linking them with a university academic and highly skilled graduate. The Bridge — Advanced Engineering Materials R&D Centre

The Bridge aim to enable collaborations between Lincolnshire’s valuable business community and local academics. By providing a central innovation hub, shared access laboratory facilities and dedicated scientific business liaison staff, we are the one-stop-shop for academic-industry relations in materials science.

Ceres Agri-tech

We are proud to be part of Ceres, a collaborative agri-tech partnership between five leading UK universities and three renowned agricultural research institutes. Funded by Research England, it provides translational funding and commercialisation expertise to drive agri-tech innovation by accelerating high quality research to market.

As the pipeline of high-quality agri-tech innovation continues to grow, Ceres is now beginning the transition from grant-led funding to a long-term, investment-based evergreen fund. Ceres’s simple investment model offers significant value add by identifying and supporting cutting-edge projects, from initial ideas all the way to commercialisation, providing a continuous source of agri-tech innovation.
