This programme is designed for anyone, graduates, first line managers, or middle managers, wishing to grow their confidence and skills in managing others to become better leaders either now or in the future.

Workshops form the majority of teaching delivery on this course. Across six workshops you will have the opportunity to understand management tools and try new ideas and ways of working, supported by an expert tutor and co-learners from a range of companies. We also encourage you to put your ideas into practice in real-world settings between the workshops so that you can reflect on your successes.
Our company insight lets you explore how successful organisations in the region lead and manage their people, providing ideas and strategies you can implement in your own business.

From short courses and microcredentials, to professional development modules and fully online Master’s degrees, we offer a range of flexible programmes to suit your individual needs. Our suite of programmes uses a variety of delivery methods, including online-only, face-to-face, blended, and distance-learning approaches.
This programme can be adapted to suit individual organisational needs should you have a larger number of people you wish to train. We can add extra content, workshops or webinars, or embed a business improvement project to the process so that organisations realise an instant return on investment, showing how the learning has been demonstrated by the individual during and following the programme.

This is a non-credit bearing short course with the option to undertake a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) qualification alongside the workshop programme, through distance learning, so no extra time needed away from the business.
