Brayford Pool Campus

Event Information

Students can join academics from our School of Engineering and Physical Sciences for three workshops exploring different areas of the world of computer science.

The robotics session gives students the opportunity to learn about chatbots and learn how interactions can be designed and developed. Students can test implemented behaviours on one of the University's robots.

In the games computing session, students are able to use our computer laboratories to programme their own game, making characters move, fight, and collect items.

The computer science session introduces students the basics of programming in the python programming language. Across the session, students can learn to write code to load, visualise, and interact with medical image data.

Our Be Inspired Days are ideal for small groups of students currently studying similar subjects at sixth form or college. To find our more about our Be Inspired programme, visit our Be Inspired webpage.
