Alongside sessions in media production and film and television studies, students can experience a taste of Film Production in a Film Set challenge. Taking it in turns on our Arri Alexa cameras, high quality audio capture equipment and using our studio lighting, they can work together to capture some shots, which will come together to make a short scene.
In the Film and Television Studies session, students can investigate how the art and culture of the cinema continues to transform in the 21st Century amid a range of technological, cultural, and social shifts. Students will be able to take part in discussion and analysis of a film sequence, and gain insight into some of the key approaches we might adopt when considering the past, present, and future of film.
