Event Information

Visit the University of Lincoln for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our state-of-the-art Conservation laboratories.

To celebrate Lincoln's second annual Festival of History, we are opening up our laboratories to allow the public to get an insight into the work we do.

You'll be able to discover the fascinating world of preserving and restoring cultural heritage, with live student projects on display, as well as hearing from the University's conservation experts. You will even have the opportunity to take part in a short practical session on conservation.

Please meet promptly outside the Peter de Wint Building at our Brayford Pool Campus, where a member of staff will greet you and take you to the laboratories for your tour slot.

There are a total of five tours taking place during this event - please select your preferred time via the booking link.
