Lincolnshire County Council, South Holland District Council, and the University of Lincoln would like to invite you to join us at two events this spring designed to showcase the opportunities and support available to small businesses in the food supply chain and Agri-tech sectors in South Lincolnshire. 

The first event will be our Webinar:

Welcome: Sarah Louise Fairburn, founder of Imp and Maker

Keynote speaker: Steve Maxwell, CEO at World Wide Fruit

Steve will be using his expertise and unique insights to examine global changes in food supply chain, the power of the region in the global food supply chain, and the benefits of being part of the Food Cluster.

Introduction: Tim Downing, Pygott and Crone and Viktor Ktori, Savills

Tim and Viktor will be discussing the importance of the South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Zone in Lincolnshire, including  benefits, facilities, capabilities, and statistics in the area. There will also be a virtual tour of the facilities on offer.

Panel discussion: Chaired by Janet Bellamy, Associate Professor of Digitalisation and Food Processing at the University of Lincoln , this panel will include representatives from a variety of organisations:

  • South Holland District Council - Pranali Parikh,  Director of Economic Development
  • Rice Consulting – Tony Padoan, Co-founder
  • Worldwide Fruit - Steve Maxwell, CEO
  • Fairman Knight and Sons - Julian Knight, Co-founder

There panel will be followed by a question and answer session, and questions are welcome from attendees in advance of the webinar.
