A full-time Bachelor’s degree programme in the UK typically takes three years to complete.
Students from India require one of the following qualifications for entry into year one of a Bachelor’s degree:
- Successful completion of High School Secondary Certificate/Standard XII from CBSE, CISCE, or a recognised State Board*
- Successful completion of a recognised International Foundation programme
- Successful completion of the International Baccalaureate (IB) with between 27 and 34 points
- Successful completion of three A Levels
In addition to the above requirements, some programmes may require a specific grade in GCSE (or High School) mathematics and/or science. This will be stated in the ‘entry requirements’ section of the individual programme webpage. Details of equivalent GCSE mathematics/science qualifications can be found below:

The University of Lincoln’s International College provides a range of degree preparation programmes to help students to qualify for entry onto an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree. If you are unable to meet the entrance requirements for a Bachelor’s degree, you may be eligible to join our International Year One programme.

Undergraduate Advanced Entry
Depending on your academic background and intended course of study, it may be possible to apply for advanced entry into level two, or three of a University of Lincoln Bachelor’s degree programme.

BA (Hons) Global Business Top-Up Programme
Our BA (Hons) Global Business is a top-up programme designed for international students moving into their second or third year.
To join Year 2, students from India must have completed 1 year of a 3-year degree with a minimum grade of 55%.
To join Year 3, students from India must have completed 2 years of a 3-year degree with a minimum grade of 55%.
