Lincoln Centre for Crime and Justice

Our Mission

The Lincoln Centre for Crime and Justice unites academics and practitioners from a range of disciplines to investigate and improve crime and justice outcomes through research, consultancy, and knowledge exchange. Our research covers four core themes: health and wellbeing; violence and harm; data and technology; and reducing offending.

The centre's key aims and objectives are to investigate a range of areas with a view to informing responses and improving outcomes related to crime and justice. These include:

  • the health and wellbeing of people who have contact with and work within the criminal justice system
  • violence and harmful behaviours
  • the use of technology in the criminal justice system
  • prevention, and pathways into and out of offending.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

Our centre supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which are an urgent call for action to tackle some of the world's most pressing problems, now and into the future.
