Open Days

Before applying, it's really important to visit a university to get a feel for what it might be like to study there. Our Open Days give you the chance to explore our range of undergraduate programmes, chat with course tutors and current students, tour our beautiful campus, and explore our award-winning accommodation and specialist facilities.

Careers and Employability

Of course, going to university is a significant investment, which is why preparing our students for their future career in the global graduate jobs market shapes our student experience from day one. Alongside our expert teaching staff, we have a dedicated Careers and Employability team who can provide a wealth of opportunities to help them progress into their dream job.

Each year, many of our students also go abroad to study, work, or volunteer. An international experience can boost a student's academic and personal development and help them gain a whole range of new skills, improve their confidence, grow their independence, and potentially increase their employment prospects.

A Home From Home

We offer a range of options to suit different budgets and all of our accommodation is either on campus or a short distance away, giving students easy access to almost everything they need. All properties feature 24/7 security and our friendly Residence Life team is also on hand to help students settle in and offer support when needed.

Health and Wellbeing

We know that it’s not possible for everyone to travel home to access healthcare, which is why we have an on-campus Health Centre providing GP access and other health support to our students. The Health Centre is conveniently located on our Brayford Pool Campus, meaning our students are never far from getting the help they need. Our commitment to providing excellent mental health support has been recognised with a national University Mental Health Charter Award in 2024.

We understand that students may have many different priorities to juggle, such as academic work, social life, independent study, and part-time work. And whether they need support with a disability, a health condition, or learning differences, our team of expert advisors is on hand to offer that extra bit of support to our students.

Our Friendly Community

Our close-knit and supportive community offers plenty of opportunities to make friends and socialise. Joining one of the more than 100 teams and societies run by the Students' Union is a great way to meet other students, have fun, and develop new interests.

Financial Help and Support

Affordability has never been more important. Our central location means our campus, accommodation, and the city centre are within walking distance, saving on transport costs. We also provide financial support and opportunities to help make students' money go further.

A Great Location

Lincoln is a small, walkable city, great for getting out and about. Our Brayford Pool Campus is located at the heart of it all, meaning that students can find an assortment of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues right on their doorstep.
