Introduction
Film and television inform, entertain, reflect, and also shape society, and this course examines the power behind these key mediums. In this first year, the course provides an overview of the theory, history and analysis of film and television. It offers a theoretically informed introduction to film and TV practice.
Modules
All Level 1 modules of the BA (Hons) Film and Television programme must be successfully completed for the award of the Certificate of Higher Education. The programme has been designed to provide students with the opportunity, upon successful completion, to progress directly into Level 2 of the full degree programme.
