Introduction
The Certificate of Higher Education in International Relations and Politics is a one year programme of study which provides students with the opportunity to study core modules which introduce British government and politics and international relations. Students can begin to examine the key concepts which underpin both disciplines and have the opportunity to develop an appreciation of the key themes driving contemporary International Relations and Politics. Our academics offer a thorough grounding in British and global politics and support students to develop vital analytical, evaluative, and critical-thinking skills.
Modules
All Level 1 modules of the BA (Hons) International Relations and Politics programme must be successfully completed for the award of the Certificate of Higher Education. The programme has been designed to enable students, upon successful completion, to progress directly into Level 2 of the following full degree programmes:

Graduates of our full degree programmes in International Relations and Politics have secured positions in the civil service in Britain and the European Union, NGOs and the charitable sector, local government, political research, and international commerce. Some students choose to continue their studies at postgraduate level.
