Introduction

The Certificate of Higher Education in Social Policy and Sociology is a one year programme of study which introduces key concepts and influential thinkers from the social sciences. Students can build their knowledge base, looking at key social science concepts, social issues, and social justice.


How You Study

All Level 1 modules of the BA (Hons) Social Policy and Sociology programme must be successfully completed for the award of the Certificate of Higher Education. The programme has been designed to provide students with the opportunity, upon successful completion, to progress directly into Level 2 of one of the following full degree programmes:
