Introduction
The Sport Development and Coaching Cert HE has been designed to meet the needs of students interested in acquiring the skills and knowledge base required of professionals in these fields. Students are also introduced to the notion of research skills with the aim of equipping them to undertake research activities. All Level 1 modules of the BSc Sport Development and Coaching programme must be successfully completed for the award of the Certificate of Higher Education in Sport Development and Coaching. The programme has been designed to provide students with an opportunity, upon successful completion, to progress directly into Level 2 of the full degree programme.
