A full-time Bachelor’s degree programme in the UK typically takes three years to complete.
Students from China require one of the following qualifications for entry into year one of a Bachelor’s degree:
- Successful completion of the National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao) with a minimum average grade of 65%
- Successful completion of the Senior High School Graduation Examination (Huikao) with a minimum average grade of 75%
- Successful completion of 3 years Senior High School with a minimum average grade of 75%
- Successful completion of the first year of a Chinese bachelor’s degree/diploma with an average grade of 70% or above
- Successful completion of a recognised International Foundation programme
- Successful completion of the International Baccalaureate (IB) with between 27 and 34 points
- Successful completion of three A Levels

Degree Preparation Programmes
The University of Lincoln’s International College provides a range of degree preparation programmes to help students to qualify for entry onto an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree. If you are unable to meet the entrance requirements for a Bachelor’s degree, you may be eligible to join our International Year One programme.

Undergraduate Advanced Entry
Depending on your academic background and intended course of study, it may be possible to apply for advanced entry into level two, or three of a University of Lincoln Bachelor’s degree programme.
