Open Campus Guide

Saturday 18 January

We're thrilled to welcome you to our Brayford Pool Campus today and show you what makes Lincoln so special. This informal and flexible event is designed around you, giving you the freedom to explore at your leisure.

On Arrival

The event runs from 10am to 12pm and you can drop in at any time, simply head to the Isaac Newton Building to check in from 9.30am. Make sure you check in using the QR code which will be available on signs located around campus, or visit our check-in page.

Parking

Visitors to our Open Campus are welcome to park at the University’s Boulevard Car Park (LN6 7DQ). However, please note that spaces here are limited and tend to fill up quickly.

Alternatively, there are several pay-and-display parking options nearby, including discounted parking at Lucy Tower Street (LN1 1XL) and Tentercroft Street (LN5 7DB). We encourage you to plan ahead to ensure a smooth arrival experience. Find out more about parking discounts.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer electric vehicle charging facilities to guests at our Open Campus events. For more information about charging points around the city, please see the Lincoln City Council website.

Welcome Talk

Time: 10am (15 minutes)

Information Zone Stands

Admissions, Funding, Accommodation, Wellbeing, Personal Statements, and Careers and Employability

Time: 10am-12pm

Location: Isaac Newton Building Atrium

Campus Tours

Time: From 10.15am (every 15 minutes)

Location: You can book campus tours at the Campus Tour Stand in the Isaac Newton Building Atrium. Upon booking, you will be assigned a timeslot and provided with a confirmation card. Please arrive at the Campus Tour Gazebo, located outside the Nicola de la Haye Building, a few minutes before your scheduled time. The tour lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes and includes a visit to one of our show flats.

Subject Chats

Time: From 10am

Location: Engage in an informal chat about your course of interest at one of the College desks located in the Isaac Newton Building Atrium.

Facilities Tours

College of Health and Science: Facilities tours for the College of Health and Science can be booked at the Isaac Newton Building. Visit the College stand for more information.

College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities: Facilities tours for the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities are available at 10.30am, with a repeat session at 11.30am, starting from the Nicola de la Haye Atrium. No booking is required, and additional details can be found at the College stand in the Isaac Newton Building.

University Library & Sports Centre: Feel free to explore the library, which is open all day, or take a tour of the Sports Centre, available directly from the Sports Centre.

Explore the City

Lincoln is one of England’s great heritage cities, and as we’re located at the heart of it all on the picturesque Brayford Pool waterfront, it’s a great location from which to explore the city during the event.
