Postgraduate Applicants and Offer Holders

We’re delighted that you’ve applied for a place on one of our postgraduate courses here at the University of Lincoln. Whether you aspire to be a leading expert in your field or simply want to pursue a passion, a postgraduate course is an investment in your future.

This section will walk you through what happens next once you’ve applied. If you are an international applicant, you can find information tailored to your journey on our International Student pages.

To support you on your journey, our dedicated Postgraduate Team offers one-to-one calls or meetings where you can discuss your individual circumstances in detail. The Team can support you in finding relevant funding streams, or arrange one-to-one chats with academic staff for any course-specific enquiries. There's also regular online advice sessions giving you the chance to find out about the different ways you can fund your postgraduate study at Lincoln.

I've Applied - What's Next?

If you've applied for a taught programme, our Postgraduate Team will review your application and contact you if they require any further information. Depending on which course you have applied for, you may be invited for an interview or audition. You can keep an eye on your application’s progress at any time by logging onto OneUni, our self-service portal.

If you've submitted an application for a research programme, you can contact our Postgraduate Team for specific advice on your journey as this process is more bespoke.

I've Received an Offer

If you've received an offer to study with us, you'll become one of our Offer Holders. Accept your offer via OneUni by following the instructions after logging in. If the offer is conditional, your next step is to submit evidence of meeting the conditions of your offer either by uploading the documents to your OneUni account or by emailing them to pgenquiries@lincoln.ac.uk. If you have already received your results and meet the course requirements, your offer may be unconditional.

It is important to note that if you did not complete your undergraduate degree at Lincoln, you will be asked to provide your degree certificate/s from your previous institution.

Funding Your Study

You will need to have funding in place for your studies before you arrive at the University. A Postgraduate Loan may contribute to your tuition fees and help support you while studying. We also offer a range of scholarships and bursaries to support students, including a discount on tuition fees for eligible alumni. The fees stated in your offer letter are the full, standard fees, and do not include any scholarships or bursaries that you may be eligible for.
