Specialist Equipment and Industry Certification
Our students have access to a range of equipment for loan, including Raspberry Pi devices, smartphones, robots, and virtual reality equipment such as HTC Vive and Oculus Quest. Games Computing students have access to a specialist development laboratory, industry-standard software development environments, 3D modelling software, and virtual reality systems. Software development environments such as Unreal Engine 4, Unity Pro, and Visual Studio play a major part in the practical elements of our courses.
As a Microsoft Imagine Academy member and Cisco Academy member, we also give students the opportunity to gain industry recognised qualifications such as Microsoft Technology Associate and Cisco certification at no additional cost.
