Engineering at Lincoln seeks to transform engineering education to create value and develop breakthrough technologies, products, systems, and services regionally and across the world. IMechE Formula Student

This year students from the University of Lincoln will be taking part in IMechE Formula Student for the first time as Lincoln Racing. The team is comprised of over 30 Lincoln students from a range of courses, such as engineering, maths, business, media and journalism. We have a range of experience as a team with members from racing teams and industry backgrounds. Their goal is to make the formula-style race car for July 2025 at Silverstone, but also to set solid foundations for future entries from the University.

Science Foundation Year

Our Science Foundation Year is designed to open up an exciting world of opportunities within science, healthcare, or engineering related subjects for students who may not have the standard entry requirements for a degree.

Industry Links

Founded in partnership with Siemens and now progressing with Siemens Energy, Lincoln’s School of Engineering has a core philosophy of research-led teaching. Informed by the needs of industry, our programmes aim to prepare students to make an immediate contribution upon entering the workplace.

Obtaining a degree from the University of Lincoln has helped my career massively, opening many doors to jobs which can further my career and growth within the industry I work.
