Practice placements are an integral part of our programmes where students will spend part of their course learning in practice, applying the knowledge and skills they are learning at university. The opportunity to learn while taking on the roles and responsibilities of the workplace allows our students to put the theory they have learned at University into practice and develop their practical skills within a real environment.
Many of our programmes are accredited by relevant governing bodies, enabling you to register upon graduation for a specific role or advance for further training in your chosen field. You can find full details of these accreditations on our individual course webpage.
Our postgraduate programmes span a broad range of specialist areas. You may also choose to undertake research programmes under the supervision of our academic staff.
Studying at Lincoln was the best three years of my academic life. My advice would be to absorb and relish every second. I feel Lincoln has some fantastic support networks and opportunities that just can’t be missed.
The Sarah Swift Building is home to clinical suites which simulate hospital and home environments, and feature specialist artificial patient technologies, including large plinth rooms and a new VR teaching suite, where you can build your confdence in practice.

Our apprenticships provide the opportunity to study for a degree while gaining hands-on experience and a professional pathway for future development. Funded by the government and your employer, our apprenticeships combine work-based learning and education, which gives employers the opportunity to select, train and develop their workforce according to an employer-defined standard.
