Learning Beyond the Classroom

The University provides students with many extracurricular opportunities develop their professional skills. These currently include: New Media Lincs, a creative business that offers paid work experience and support in developing CVs, showreels, portfolios, and contacts in preparation for industry; our digital audio platform; the web TV news service LSJNews, and our students' own newspaper, The Linc.

Meet the Graduate

Chris Gray, BA (Hons) Journalism

Chris spent his childhood commentating on computer games in his room and used his time at Lincoln to pursue his passion for sports journalism by starting a show on the University's on-campus community radio station. Since graduating, he has gone from strength to strength, and is now working as a senior journalist at BBC News.
