Access to Higher Education Conference 2024
What to Expect on the Day
Designed for students who are pursuing their university ambitions through an Access to Higher Education course, our conference is an excellent way to learn about studying at university, student life, and potential course options.
Running from 10.30am until 2pm on Wednesday 6 November at our Brayford Pool Campus, the day is filled with opportunities for students to get the information they need for their higher education journey, including a personal statement workshop; subject taster sessions in areas including psychology, health and social care, and criminology; and information stands from teams across the University.
To keep the Conference as accessible as possible, it will be free to attend with lunch and refreshments provided.
We are welcoming both groups and individuals and recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Getting Here
Our Brayford Pool Campus is in the heart of Lincoln, with nearby parking and just a short walk away from Lincoln Central Railway Station. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide on-campus parking for the conference, however, there is a nearby pay and display car park at St Marks Shopping Centre, just across the road from the campus.
For groups arriving by coach, head to the Boulevard Car Park (LN6 7DQ) where a member of the team will be there to greet you. Please note, there is no on-campus parking and instead we ask that coaches are parked at the Stagecoach Depot.
There is limited parking available for minibuses. Please select minibus on the booking form and a member of the team will be in touch to discuss arrangements.
